Gray-New Gloucester Girls’ Summer Basketball

The GNG Girls’ Basketball Program will once again be offering summer
opportunities for players to work their individual games while also having fun.

Both a 4-week summer clinic and a week-long camp will be available and players will have the option in participating in either or both programs.

These opportunities are open to girls entering grades 3 through 8.

The programs are outlined below:

I. Patriot Basketball Camp (@ GNGHS gym)
PLEASE NOTE THIS CAMP IS NOW BEING HELD IN JUNE
Players focus on understanding the game through a variety of skills including
shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding and screening. Groups will be split up
by age/ability and will emphasize teamwork as well as individual development.
Good sportsmanship and a fun learning environment will be stressed. The final
day of camp will include a skills competition where campers will compete in a
variety of basketball contests. Players will need to bring snacks.
June 23rd-27th from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
For players entering grades 3-8 only
Cost: $115

II. Patriot Summer Clinic (@ GNGHS gym)
A fun introduction to basketball skills and play. Emphasis will be placed on the
basic skills of defensive stance, court movement, dribbling, passing and
shooting. Each session will conclude with a scrimmage/game component where
players will demonstrate the focused skill of the day.
Tuesdays & Thursdays from July 8th until July 31st
Players entering grades 3,4 & 5: 8:00-9:00 AM
Players entering grades 6,7 & 8: 9:00-10:00 AM
Cost: $75

A discount is available to those signing up for both programs. The discount will be $20 off the
full price of $190 at a reduced price of $170 if the player participates in both the
summer clinic and the Patriot Basketball Camp.

Note: Our registration software charges a processing fee of 3.25% + $2.00 per payment.
